Fri-Yay Cocktail - Ritz 75
This Friday we are going international with the Ritz 75, originally made popular by the Ritz hotel bar in Paris and inspired by the French 75, a cocktail invented circa 1914 and named after the French 75 mm canon. This impressive drink combines both Gin and Champagne to make a delicious assault on your taste buds
Ingredients for a Ritz 75-
- 0.5 oz of Gin
- 0.5 oz fresh mandarin juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 4 oz Chilled Brut Champagne
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Lemon Wedge
- Maraschino Cherry
Preparing a Brandy Sling -
- Mix ingredients except Champagne.
- Shake vigorously with ice
- Pour over ice.
- Top with champagne (slowly!)
- Garnish with orange wedge and cherry (Bonus points: add a swizzle stick)
- Enjoy!
